The Dual Band Super J-Pole

The super j-pole can be fabricated from 1/2" copper water pipe. I tested the antenna before putting it up. The SWR showed good for both bands of operation. Based on the testing and my experience using this antenna. It showed me great coverage on simplex as well as repeater coverage. The dimensions that I ended up using are shown in the picture. The easiest way to make one of these antennas is to cut the copper pipe to the dimensions and then flux the connections. Before soldering the joints, assemble the antenna making sure the joints are tight. Besure to maintain the inline geometric plane for the vertical elements.

This antenna offers omni directional operation. I have used mine for my base station antenna and works well on low and high power. Please refer to the picture for dimensions.
